The Board directs the management of the business and affairs of the Association including the finance, personnel, planning, policies, facilities, and public relations of IWAM.
There are between 7 and 12 Board members at any time. At least two thirds of the members are immigrants living in Winnipeg. All Board members are volunteers and dedicate to the Organizatio between 5 and 20 hours of her time every month.
How to Become a Board Member
If you are interested in becoming a member of the IWAM Board, send us your resume. New Board members are elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in June but sometimes we look for new Board members in other months. Please send us your resume and indicate your interest in volunteering as a Board member at any time.
